Metallurgical Electric Hoist

The metallurgical wire rope electric hoist is specifically designed for the metallurgical industry and the handling of molten metal, with a working grade of M6.

Features of the Metallurgical Wire Rope Electric Hoist:

Dual Braking System: The hoisting mechanism is equipped with both a holding brake and a safety brake. If the conical motor brake or any intermediate transmission component fails, the DC electromagnetic brake installed on the high-speed shaft of the reducer or the ratchet brake installed on the drum will engage, safely stopping the load and preventing runaway, achieving maximum safety for lifting operations.

Overload Limiter: The hoist is equipped with an overload limiter. When the load reaches 95% of the rated capacity, the limiter issues an alarm. When the load reaches 105% of the rated capacity, the lifting control circuit is disconnected, the lifting contactor is released, and the motor stops.

Dual Upper Limit Protection: The hoist provides dual upper limit protection. The first level is power-off limit protection, and the second level is control-off protection.

High-Performance Motors: The lifting and traveling motors have insulation class H and the lifting motor windings are equipped with overheat protection devices.

Heat Insulation Plate: A heat insulation plate is installed at the bottom of the hoist, providing high-temperature protection.

Wire Rope Configuration: Uses high-strength, high-temperature-resistant wire ropes specifically designed for metallurgical environments.

Control Method: Remote control is preferred, allowing operators to work from a safe position.
