LX Suspension Crane

  • Space-saving Design — Suspended installation leaves ground space free for workers and equipment.
  • Flexible Layouts — Suitable for straight, curved, and custom monorail track systems.
  • Lightweight & Economical — Lower structure weight and reduced investment compared with overhead cranes in some layouts.
  • Easy Integration — Can be installed under gantries, mezzanines, or suspended from existing roof beams.
  • Safety Options — End stops, buffer, overload protection, limit switches and secure rail fastening.
  • Customizable — Single-girder or multi-trolley arrangements, motorized trolleys available for traversing long runs.

The LX Suspension Crane (also called underslung or monorail suspension crane) is a lightweight, flexible lifting solution designed to be suspended from existing building structures or runway beams. It is ideal for production lines, assembly stations, and workshops where floor space is limited and a fixed or semi-fixed lifting path is required. Typical capacities range from 0.5 t to 10 t, and spans and layouts can be customized to suit straight rails, curved rails or complex monorail routing.

🔹 Typical Technical Parameters

Suspension Crane

Notes: Exact parameters depend on rail design, suspension method and local structural conditions. We provide engineering drawings and load calculations upon inquiry.

🔹 Main Components

  • Suspension Rail / Monorail — Hot-rolled or welded rails profiled for trolley compatibility.

  • Hoist & Trolley —  hoist mounted on a manual or motorized trolley.

  • End Stops & Buffers — Safety buffers at route ends to prevent overrun.

  • Suspension Hangers — Bolted or welded hangers to attach rail to building structure.

  • Electrical & Control System — Pendant or remote controller with necessary safety interlocks.

  • Braking & Limit Devices — Lifting limit switch, emergency stop, and overload limiter.

🔹 Applications

  • Assembly lines and conveyors

  • Automotive component workshops

  • Light fabrication and electronics manufacturing

  • Warehouses with constrained floor space

  • Paint shops and finishing lines (with suitable corrosion protection)

  • Any production process that requires repeated handling along a fixed route

🔹 Advantages vs Overhead Cranes (Quick Guide)

  • Lower initial investment for fixed-route lifting solutions.

  • Simpler installation when building structure supports suspension.

  • Better fit for linear material flow and repetitive operations.

  • Not suitable when full-area coverage or high-mobility lifting is required.
